How it works
Calculation of grams. There are no scales in the feeder. Therefore, the feed is taken into account in portions. That is, for the first time you load the feed into the container, press the issue of one serving and hang the number of grams in one serving on other scales. By selecting a value in the application, you choose how many servings to give out for one feeding. If your pet needs 16 grams of food at one meal, and one serving weighs 8 grams – just mark the value of two servings.
Power supply of the device. The feeder is connected to a 220 V network via a USB cable from the kit. 3 LR-20 batteries are used for backup power. When the device is powered by a network, it retransmits the Zigbee signal. Be careful: the power supply and batteries are not included. It seems that the name is about pet nutrition, and not about the operation of the device

The feeding schedule is automatic. Even if the hub or router fails, the feeder will continue to automatically give out food.
The electricity was turned off — there is a backup charge in the device. Two LR-20 batteries. Therefore, if the electricity is turned off, the feeder will continue to give out food.

The feed can be given out through the button on the feeder. The app has a „child lock“ feature. Also in the application there is an option to turn off the indicator light so that it does not interfere at night.
Automation
If the pet is at the feeder, let it give him a portion of food. The motion sensor will register that the animal has come to the feeder, and then automation will work.
